This web application is provided for research, teaching, workshop, and scientific software demonstration purposes.

Privacy Policy

General Information

Dresden University of Technology processes personal data within the framework of the use of this web application only to the extent necessary for providing and securing the service.

The application is designed to minimize the processing of personal data. No tracking technologies, analytics services, advertising services, or profiling mechanisms are used.

Cookies

The application uses technically necessary session cookies. These cookies are required for authentication and for assigning a temporary backend processing instance to the browser session.

The session cookies do not contain content data or user profile information. They are used only for technical operation of the service and are deleted when the browser session ends.

Server Logs

The reverse proxy is configured without access logging. No access logs are used for tracking, analytics, or behavioral analysis.

For technical operation, troubleshooting, and information security purposes, limited error logs may be generated by the server software. These logs are used solely for system administration and security purposes.

Data Processed by the Application

No user accounts are created by this application. No ZIH login, first name, last name, or personal e-mail address is processed by the application.

Users should not upload or enter personal, confidential, or sensitive information unless explicitly authorized to do so.

Purpose of Processing

The purpose of processing is the provision of a web-based scientific application for interactive analysis, teaching, workshops, and software demonstration in the field of airborne laser bathymetry and full-waveform LiDAR data processing.

Legal Basis

The legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on the legitimate interest in providing, operating, and securing the service for research, teaching, and scientific software demonstration purposes.
